<description>Presently researching and writing in parts a bicentennial biography of Abraham Lincoln entitled: All That I Am; Being the First Half of Lincoln&#039;s Life (1809-1828). Seeking to capture the ennobling spirit which was engendered to him by a handful of close associates and others who in some significant way contributed to the building of his stature and character. Will send you a complimentary copy when finished.

<description>Come up a bit short? Did he mention:
1. Lincoln refused to meet a CSA delegation before Ft Sumter that offered to pay their share of the national debt and for all Federal property in the CSA?

2. Lincoln imprisoned over 35,000 people without charge or trial?

3. Overthrew the legal State governments of Maryland and Missouri?

4. Sanctioned waging war on non-combatants in violation of the 1863 Geneva Convention.

5. Refused to exchange prisoners condeming thousands to die in miserable conditions.

Yep, I bet he misses a few trivial points about the &quot;great&quot; leader.
