<description>Interesting comments. I didn&#039;t read any reviews of this book which might have given another perspective on the ending, so I found this has opened a new train of thought for me in regard to the way that the book can be approached.

From my perspective, I found that the &quot;story&quot; in the novel spoke more powerfully to me than the comment on religion. I too was interested to see how this book would live up to the description on the back cover, but I felt that aspect of the novel fell short and was too subtle or unclear so as to lack any power.
