Lewis has a way of describing things simply but in a way that everyone can understand and lets you share the characters emotions. I would recomend it to any person from the age of 11 and up. I LOVED it! He truley is an amazing author. In "The Killing Sea" he really shows the reader the emotional pain that comes with surviving a tsunami. The story is easy to understand and has a wonderful moral to it. I have recommended it to many of my classmates, and even bought the book myself. Many children in America will never have to face a tsunami in their lifetime...hopefully by reading this book, many teenagers, (or adults), will better understand the tragedy's that happen around the world.
