		<description>Great post!  You&#039;re thoughts mirror my own.  I&#039;m not a person to label an entire genre (though we&#039;ve also been discussing the fact that YA isn&#039;t a genre as much as a category of books) as fluff.  I think we all pretty much agree that any genre/category of books is going to have what each of us independently considers fluff.  To muddy the waters even further is what I consider fluff others may not -- what exactly is the definition of &quot;fluff&quot;.   
 
At any rate, YA may not be appealing to a read just as literary fiction is not appealing to me.  However I wouldn&#039;t be inclined to dismiss it out of the gate. </description>
