Chris Pavone coming to Thurber House Evening with Authors Series January 30

Announcement for the Central Ohio folks: Chris Pavone, author of The Expats, will be at Thurber’s Evening with Authors event:

What is this Evening with Authors, you ask. Answer:

At Thurber House‘s Evenings with Authors events, nationally-known writers read and discuss their most recent books. Past authors include: Michael Connelly, Lisa Scottoline, Lee Child, Adriana Trigiani, among many others. Each author gives a 45-minute reading, followed by a 15-minute question-and-answer period. A book signing and reception close the event.

All events begin at 7:30. Tickets are $20 for adults and $18 for students in advance, and can be purchased online at www.thurberhouse.org. Additionally, full-series and mini-series of tickets are available.

Who is Chris Pavone?

expats coverChris Pavone worked at a number of publishing houses for two decades before writing his debut novel, The Expats. Published in early 2012, the book received critical acclaim and soon became a New York Times bestseller. Now, The Expats has been published in 15 languages on five continents, and is being developed for film.

The book tells the story of Kate Moore, a working mother who struggles to make ends meet and to hide a massive secret from her family and friends.
